Where is commencement?: Celebrating the class of 2023

After four years of academics, athletics and extracurriculars, the class of 2023 is ready to set forth on a new journey beyond high school.

Find out when and where your student is graduating below.

St. Clair County

Algonac

Algonac High School will hold its graduation at 6 p.m., June 9 at the Trueman Pippel Memorial Field, located at 5200 Taft Road. The Algonac High School class of 2023 consists of 100 graduates. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the high school gymnasium.

Tickets are not required for the outdoor ceremony. However, students have been given 10 rain tickets in the event of rain during the outdoor ceremony.  Due to limited space in the gym, Algonac High Schools has to limit tickets per student.

Capac

Capac High School will hold its graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. on May 21 at the high school football field, located at 541 N Glassford St. The class of 2023 consists of 59 graduates. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to inside the high school gymnasium.

East China

East China School District has three high schools- Marine City High School, St. Clair High School and Riverview East High School.

Marine City High School will hold its graduation at noon, June 4 in the high school gym,  located at 1085 Ward St. The Marine City High School class of 2023 holds 127 graduates. Tickets are not required for the ceremony.

St. Clair High School is having its graduation at 3 p.m., June 4 at the East China Stadium, located at 1587 Meisner Road in East China Township. The class of 2023 consists of 178 graduates. Tickets are not required for the event. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be rescheduled for 6 p.m. on June 5.

Riverview East High School will have its graduation at 6 p.m., June 4 at the East China Performing Arts Center, located at 1585 Meisner Road in East China Township. The class of 2023 has 18 graduates. Tickets are not required for the ceremony.

Marysville

Marysville High School will hold its commencement ceremony at 2:30 p.m., June 4 at the Walt Braun Stadium, located at 555 E Huron Blvd. The Marysville class of 2023 consists of 183 seniors. Tickets are not required for the outdoor ceremony.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the high school gym. Due to limited seating, each student has been given eight tickets for their attendees.

Memphis

Memphis High School will have its graduation ceremony at 1 p.m., May 21 inside the high school gym, located at 34130 Bordman Road. The Memphis class of 2023 consists of 65 students.

Port Huron

Port Huron Area Schools will also have three commencement ceremonies - Port Huron High School, Port Huron Northern and a combined ceremony for Phoenix Academy and the Harrison Center.

Port Huron High School will hold its graduation at 7 p.m., June 5 at McMorran Arena, located at 701 McMorran Blvd. The Port Huron High School class of 2023 consists of 224 graduates. Students have been given 10 tickets to provide to their attendees.

Port Huron Northern will hold its graduation at 7 p.m., June 6 at McMorran Arena. The class of 2023 consists of 238 graduates. Students have been allotted nine tickets to provide their attendees.

Phoenix Academy and Harrison Center will hold a commencement ceremony at 6:30 p.m., June 12 at the Port Huron High School Performing Arts Center, located at 2215 Court St. The class of 2023 consists of 42 graduates. Tickets are not required.

Yale

Yale High School will hold its commencement ceremony at 11 a.m., May 20 at Yale City Park, located at 7 Park Drive. The Yale class of 2023 consists of 153 graduates. Tickets are not required for the ceremony. Seating is considered first come, first serve and people are allowed to bring their own chairs.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be delayed until 6 p.m. If it continues into the evening, graduation will be moved to 2 p.m., May 21.

Sanilac County

Brown City

Brown City High School will hold its graduation ceremony at 2 p.m., May 21 in the high school gym, located at 4400 Second St. The Brown City class of 2023 consists of 71 graduates. Tickets are not required.

Carsonville-Port Sanilac

Carsonville-Port Sanilac High School held its graduation at 1 p.m., Sunday inside the high school gym, located at 100 N Goetze Road. The class of 2023 consisted of 35 graduates.

Croswell-Lexington

Croswell-Lexington High School held its graduation ceremony at noon, Saturday in the Pioneer Football Stadium, located at 5461 Peck Road. The class of 2023 consisted of 135 graduates.

Deckerville

Deckerville High School will hold its commencement ceremony at 7 p.m., June 9 at the football field, located at 2633 Black River St. The Deckerville class of 2023 consists of 31 graduates. In case of inclement weather, Deckerville’s graduation will either be moved inside the high school gym, or will take place 7 p.m., June 10 on the football field.

Marlette

Marlette High School will hold its graduation at 1 p.m., May 21 at the high school football field, located at 6233 Oakes St. The class of 2023 consists of 35 graduates. The ceremony does not require tickets.

If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the high school gym, located at 3051 Moore St.

Peck

Peck High School will hold its commencement ceremony at 1 p.m., May 21 in the high school gym, located at 222 E Lapeer Road. The Peck class of 2023 has 20 graduates. Tickets are not required. Some families members of graduating students have assigned seats. Otherwise, people are welcome to sit where they please.

Sandusky

The Sandusky High School commencement ceremony will be held at 2 p.m., May 21 at the high school gym, located at 191 Pinetree Lane. The Sandusky class of 2023 consists of 75 graduates. Tickets are not required for the ceremony.
