Where to dine in or order Thanksgiving dinner takeout around Fayetteville

Thanksgiving is nearly here. While some make the meal from scratch, others are making plans to pick up a Turkey Day spread or dine at a restaurant.

Many restaurants and caterers in the Fayetteville area offer Thanksgiving menus and specials for takeout or dine-in on Nov. 23, so you can spend more time running a turkey trot, watching the parade, cheering for your favorite football team, and, of course, enjoying time with friends and family.

Here is our list of restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day, as well as takeout meals, appetizers, entrees and desserts, you can pick up so you can skip the dishes and relax this holiday.

Big Erv BBQ & 910 Sweets

Big Erv BBQ & 910 Sweets is a food truck and caterer that offers smoked whole turkeys starting at $60. For another $10, get it deboned and sliced. Turkey barbecue, brisket, ribs and macaroni and cheese are also available, as well as banana pudding and sheet cakes, including alcohol-infused cakes. Bright Light Brewing Company

Bright Light Brewing is hosting its seventh annual Hoppy Friendsgiving. The brewery provides a free Thanksgiving meal, and brews on tap are available to purchase. The festivities run from 2 to 10 p.m. Visit Bright Light Brewing on Facebook.

Carlie C's IGA

Address: 690 S. Reilly Road, 2738 Bragg Blvd., 600 Cedar Creek Road and 1790 Owen Drive, all in Fayetteville, and 3502 N. Main St. in Hope Mills

Carlie C’s IGA is known to sell out of its Thanksgiving dinners. The independent grocer offers three different meals: an 8-to-10-pound roasted turkey or 7-to-8-pound ham with a side of cornbread dressing and gravy for $57; add on green beans, candied yams and a dozen dinner rolls for $75; or all of the sides with both turkey and ham for $90. Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel offers two sizes of heat-and-serve turkey Thanksgiving dinners for pickup. Get a turkey breast, dressing, gravy, cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole and a choice of an additional side that feeds four to six people for $99; add on another turkey breast, a side of choice and two pies for $150. Mains, sides and desserts are also available a la carte. Order online for pickup Friday through Nov. 25.

Dab's Soul Food Cafe

Dab's Soul Food Cafe offers Thanksgiving meal deals in three different sizes, ranging from $180 to $385. Each includes turkey or ham, cornbread dressing, collard greens or cabbage, baked macaroni and cheese, yams and sweet cornbread muffins. Or get just those sides plus potato salad for $312. Fried Turkey Sandwich Shop

The Fried Turkey Sandwich Shop, which feeds turkey cravings year-round, doesn’t leave customers hanging on Thanksgiving. Order hot or cooled fried turkey at $19 per pound, stuffing at $26 per pan, and gravy and cranberry sauce at $4 per pint. The shop’s popular sweet potato squares are available in pie form for $12. Order in-store by Tuesday for Thanksgiving Day pickup.

Golden Corral

Address: 1806 Skibo Road, Fayetteville

Golden Corral, the national buffet chain that got its start in Fayetteville, offers family meals that feed up to eight people starting at $80. A la carte entrees, sides and desserts are also available. Individual ham or turkey meals with all the fixings to go are $8.79. Order online or on the app for curbside pickup or delivery.
