Where can you take your dog in Bucks County? Hotels, restaurants, stores are all rover

The dog days of summer will soon be here and more businesses in Bucks County plan to give canine lovers opportunities to cavort at hotels, restaurants and stores.

The list grows as retailers seek to tap into rover-related revenues.

In 2004, Mellissa Haliburton started the website and mobile app Bring Fido with details on where you could take your pooch. In Pennsylvania alone, that list now includes nearly 5,000 hotels and more than 2,000 restaurants.

Doylestown has 30 listed restaurant locations and New Hope has at least 10, according to the app.
