There's more to Easter food than chocolate bunnies and jelly beans.

For brunch, there's fluffy French toast, creamy eggs Benedict and fizzy mimosas. For dinner, ham sticky with maple glaze, tender roasted lamb and flaky salmon. For dessert: carrot cake and light dollops of chocolate mousse.

Indeed, restaurants in every corner of North Jersey are ready to serve a special brunch on Easter Sunday so you can skip the hassle of shopping, cooking and cleaning yourself.

Here are 16 restaurants ready to host you on Easter Sunday. All you need to do is make a reservation.

Bistro D’Azur, South Orange

Chef Richard Krug has created a French Mediterranean, two-course, prix-fixe meal for the holiday. First course options include fruits de mer consisting of chilled shrimp, scallops and octopus; Roquette salad; and asparagus and mushroom risotto. Entree choices include roasted petit filet mignon, lamb rib chops and grilled Atlantic salmon.

Details: Dine-in or carry out. Price is $89 per person plus gratuity. A $25 deposit is required for every reservation. Noon to 4 p.m.

Faubourg, Montclair

French restaurant Faubourg is currently accepting reservations through Resy for Easter. An a la carte menu will be available with Easter specials. Another option, if you'd rather eat at home: Easter meal bundle, which features roasted leg of lamb or ham, along with appetizers and traditional desserts such as fraisier cake made with Genoise biscuit and vanilla cream. Other catering options for six to eight include an assortment of cheeses ($48) and a 12-piece shrimp cocktail ($48.) Entree choices include beef tenderloin ($145) or roasted salmon ($95) with sides like mac and cheese ($48) and sautéed spinach ($48.)

Details:  Brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. The Easter meal bundle serves up to six people and costs $325.

Yearning to eat brunch from celebrity chef David Burke with the family on Easter? The chef is offering a prix-fixe meal at his Morristown location, 1776 by David Burke, which includes such appetizer choices as egg yolk ravioli, lobster dumplings and oysters, and main dish choices such as Bourbon maple glazed ham, crab cakes, and lamb chops. If you're craving a hunk of meat, opt for the add-on tomahawk (plus $45, serves 2). Make room for dessert; among your options: strawberry shortcake, carrot cake and apple tart.

This popular seafood and raw bar restaurant will serve its regular a la carte menu with both brunch and dinner options available. Specials will include goat cheese and asparagus bruschetta, primavera focaccia pizza and grilled lamb T-Bone. Don't miss Sirenetta's homemade hot cross buns. Reservations are recommended for parties larger than six.

Felina will host an a la carte brunch with some Easter specials. Apps include beet salad ($18) and mussels fra diavolo ($19) followed by pizza, pasta, or any second-course dish. Among its Easter specials: Crescent Farm roasted duck breast ($39) and a surf and turf dish containing shrimp and a 14-ounce NY strip steak ($59).

Fine French restaurant Madeleine’s Petit Paris will host an Easter meal complete with smoked salmon, marinated mushrooms, duck a l'orange, ratatouille, coq au vin, crème brûlée and sorbet a la nage.

Details: Seatings are at 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1 p.m. Dinner seatings are at 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. Adults $65/ person and children $35/person plus tax and 20% gratuity. Reservations are required.

The Shannon Rose, Clifton and Ramsey

The Easter Bunny will make a stop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at The Shannon Rose on Easter Sunday. Shannon Rose’s Irish-American dishes including fish and chips will be available a la carte, along with spring cocktails and Easter specials.

A three-course, family-style meal made with local ingredients will be served for brunch at the Summit House. Foraged burrata Caprese; monkey bread with cinnamon and vanilla glaze; and asparagus salad will start the meal for the whole table. Then segue to an entree such as seared salmon, crab cake eggs Benedict, carved leg of lamb or fennel linguini. Polish off your meal with chocolate budino or St. Germaine doughnuts.

McLoone’s Boathouse, West Orange

An expansive buffet will meet diners at McLoone’s Boathouse. Take your fill of selections from the raw bar as well as the buffet table, which will include mini croissants, bagels, smoked gouda mac and cheese, Belgian waffles, roasted pork loin and Virginia ham.

Details: Runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Price is $49.95 for adults; children $19.95.

Son Cubano, West New York

Cuban restaurant Son Cubano, a collaboration between celebrity chef David Burke and executive chef Brian Morales, will offer a three-course prix-fixe brunch and dinner. Starters include blackened shrimp and a variety of empanadas. Entree choices include oven-roasted chicken, Australian lamb chops and a 32-ounce. dry-aged Porterhouse. Sides are not included. For the sweet tooth, hazelnut crunch cake and orange creme tres leches will be available.

Ventanas will host a three-course prix-fixe brunch on Easter. The chic, club-like restaurant has an outdoor patio and a spacious dining room. Menu options include breakfast patties, avocado salad king crab avocado toast and pan-speared halibut.

Enjoy your Easter meal with spectacular views of the New York City skyline at Battello, which sits right on the Hudson shoreline. In the main dining room, an a la carte menu of brunch and dinner favorites will be served, along with Easter specials such braised lamb shank and pancetta-wrapped pork loin. In the lounge, help yourself at a brunch buffet to such dishes as brioche French toast, ricotta gnocchi, buttermilk-baked chicken breast and Scottish salmon.

Live jazz music will be played from 11 to 3 p.m. in the main dining room and lounge, and again from 5 to 8 p.m. in the main dining room.
