Where In Framingham Coronavirus Outreach Will Happen This Weekend

FRAMINGHAM, MA — As Framingham reports yet another rise in coronavirus cases — and deaths — the city has released details about where state workers will be this weekend conducting virus prevention outreach.

On Wednesday, Gov. Charlie Baker announced that Framingham would be the next city to get help with outreach from the state Department of Public Health. On Friday, Framingham reported 27 new cases since Wednesday and three new deaths. Framingham is also still considered one of the few high-risk communities in the state along with places like Everett, Revere, Dedham and New Bedford.

Here's where you'll see health workers in Framingham:

Sept. 12

11 a.m. to noon, Seabra Foods,208 Waverly St.
Table set up to hand out flyers and hand sanitizer

11 a.m. to noon, Framingham Spanish Church, 305 Hollis St.
Table set up to hand out flyers and hand sanitizers

12:30 to 3:30 p.m., Union Avenue
Workers will distribute window signs and stacks of literature to businesses

4 to 5:30 p.m., Tesoros Supermarket, 80 Hollis St.

Sept. 13

10 a.m. to noon, Igreja Batista de Framingham, 35 South St.

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Cushing Memorial Park
