Where Gainesville area football teams landed in the newest FHSAA rankings

The second set of the FHSAA's high school football rankings were revealed on Wednesday afternoon despite coming off a week that saw a slew of schedule changes due to Hurricane Ian's impact across the state.

While a handful of local teams never took the field for their Week 6 matchups — whether that be due to a scheduled idle week or last week's storm — others were able to play and saw it pay off in this week's edition of the FHSAA's rankings.
