Here’s where to take your kids on spring break vacation in and around Myrtle Beach SC
From mini-golf to boardwalks, Myrtle Beach offers plenty of activities that will ensure your child will be happy and worn out by the end of the day.
Here’s some things to do.
Mini golf
There’s a reason Myrtle Beach is known as the golf capital of the world. There are about 50 mini-golf courses to try with the kids, including a Jurassic course and a volcano themed course.
Visit Myrtle Beach offers a good listing of those different golf courses inside or near the city.
Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
As the most iconic image of Myrtle Beach, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk should not be left out of a family-friendly vacation. Check out the Ripleys Believe it or Not Odditorium, which holds some of the best “oddifacts,” perfect for a child’s wild imagination.
At the Fun Plaza Arcade, kids can enjoy thrill rides such as the Slingshot, the Skyscraper and The Air Strike.
Don’t forget to go on the Myrtle Beach Skywheel at least once on your trip. It runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days.
Pier at Garden City
The pier has fun for all ages, with live music and karaoke on some days as well as an arcade. There is also a cafe, bar and a tackle shop. Kids can try their hand at fishing for $5, and adults for $10. This is for a daily pass.
Murrells Inlet MarshWalk
The MarshWalk is a half-mile wooden boardwalk located near waterfront dining in Murrells Inlet. Families can enjoy live music, water sports, boat tours, kayaking and local events.
