Where to take the kids to Trunk-or-Treat for Halloween in Shreveport

Driving around town looking for houses with porch lights to take your kids trick or treating can become exhausting. Instead of bouncing from neighborhood to neighborhood this Halloween, check out all of the places in Shreveport that are hosting trunk-or-treat events to take the kids all Halloween weekend long.

Friday, October 28

  • Trunk-or-Treat Night Market at the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center - From 6 - 10 p.m. come out for a night of family Halloween fun. There will be scary stories, a costume contest, and local vendors to shop with. The Andress is located at 717 Crockett St. in Shreveport.

Saturday, October 29

  • Forest Park Funeral Home - From 4 - 6 p.m. come out to the Forest Park Funeral Home for a night of mostly treats. Forest Park is located at 12o1 Louisiana Ave. in Shreveport.

  • Greater Zion Mission Baptist Church - Come out at 4 p.m. for a night of family-friendly fun and a safe place for kids to enjoy Halloween at the Greater Zion Mission located at 6924 Bethany St. in Shreveport.

  • Ochsner LSU Health - From 10 a.m. - Noon bring the kids to enjoy fun games and trick or treating with the LSU Health team also providing free car seat safety checks. LSU Health is located at 1 St. Mary Place in Shreveport.

  • Herbert's Town and Country Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Bring the kids from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for trunk-or-treating, food, treats, and vintage cars at the Mopar Magic Car Show at Herbert's located at 1155 E. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport.

Sunday, October 30

  • Journey Church - Bring the kids for an afternoon of Halloween fun from Noon - 2 p.m. at Journey Church located at 1020 Shreveport Barksdale Hwy. in Shreveport.

  • University Church of Christ - Come out for a night of trunk-or-treating beginning at 5:30 p.m. and a chili cook-off with a chance to win a prize. The University Church of Christ is located at 2045 E. 70th St. in Shreveport.

  • Winnfield Funeral Home of Shreveport - From 4 - 6 p.m. come out to the parking lot of the church for the kids to have some Halloween fun. Winnfield Funeral Home is located at 3701 Hollywood Ave. in Shreveport.

  • Intentional Church - The 1st annual trunk or treat will have free hot dogs, games, a bounce house and face painting in addition to tons of candy for the kids to enjoy from 5 - 8 p.m. at Intentional Chruch located at 2419 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport.

  • Baptist Bible Fellowship - Beginning at 5:30 the kids can come out for a night of safe and fun trick-or-treating at the Baptist Bible Fellowship located at 8900 Kingston Rd. in Shreveport.
