Medical marijuana has been legal in Florida for the last seven years. And in those seven years, over 30 medical marijuana dispensary locations have cropped up in almost every neighborhood in the county.

This week, West Palm Beach's City Commission voted to put a cap on how many dispensaries can do business in the city.

West Palm city commissioners voted to keep the number of dispensaries allowed to no more than nine (excluding any existing storefronts). West Palm Beach currently has more than nine medical marijuana dispensaries.

Here's a non-exhaustive list of the dispensaries around the Palm Beaches with more than three-star reviews on Google, separated by towns in North, Central and South Palm Beach County. There is not a known publicly available list of medical marijuana dispensaries in Florida.

Who can legally buy marijuana in Florida?

Only those who have been examined by a doctor and prescribed a medical marijuana card with a reasoning for needing it can purchase marijuana from the following dispensaries. Marijuana is not currently legal for recreational use in the state of Florida.

In 2024, Florida voters may get a chance to amend the state constitution and allow for recreational marijuana use.
