Where Are They Now: Popular Vine Creators

After his purchase of Twitter, Elon Musk has been working to really turn the app upside down. One feature he asked his followers about recently was if he should bring back the Twitter-owned OG short form video platform, Vine. Which has us going down memory lane and wondering what happened to all of our favs from back then. We tracked down a few. Here’s where they are now.

King Bach

KingBach has undeniably become one of the biggest Vine based stars. He not only continues to grow his follower count daily but has also been able to star in many movies and shows.He has been seen on “House of Lies,”  “Wild ‘N Out,” “Black Jesus,” “The Mindy Project,”  “Punk’d” and more.

Wolftyla

Wolftyla rose to Vine fame by making us laugh until our stomachs hurt, but now the public figure has stepped all the way into the music industry. As an  independent artist she is able to take control of her sound, combining R&B with retro sounds and K-pop influences. She has also worked on hits such as Megan Thee Stallion’s “Simon Says” and Ella Mai’s “How” featuring Roddy Ricch.

Landon Moss

Landon Moss has always found a way to make his followers laugh, and now he’s made a career out of it! The once Vine famous influencer has now changed his title to actor. He received a degree in screen writing and directing and never looked back. He emerged onto the scene in 2018 with recurring appearances on season 1 and 2 of TruTV’s “Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks.” He then was able to land a recurring role on the second season of “Keeping Up With The Joneses” on the Lifetime Movie Network.

Jay Versace

Jay Versace may be another ex-Viner who has created an unforgettable name for himself. He went from being on everyone’s Vine timelines, to now a Grammy winning producer. The 24-year-old social media star wowed everyone by producing the outro to Tyler The Creator’s “Call Me If You Get Lost” album. He also has credits on songs by West Side Gunn and Denzel Curry. The creative has been working to make his sound unique and make his mark in this industry.

Reggie Couz

Reggie Couz is another Vine star who has kept us laughing from day one until now. The comedian has worked long and hard on creating the career he wanted for himself. He has worked on shows like “Wild N’ Out” and has worked with brands such as Old Spice and Footlocker. Not only is he making skits and securing the partnership bag, he has also stepped into his music bag! The creative ebven just released his newest single, “Magic.”
