"The Outsiders" was directed by Francis Ford Coppola in Tulsa and starred cast of future A-actors, including C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez and Tom Cruise.

The film is based on the 1967 coming-of-age novel by Oklahoma author S.E. Hinton.

The Outsiders House Museum was created by Danny Boy O'Connor, formerly of the hip-hop group House of Pain. He bought the house several years ago and renovated it.

The museum includes film memorabilia, including furniture, photos, posters and the leather jacket worn by Dillon's character, Dallas Winston.
