Where to find overnight shelter in OKC for the unhoused during extreme winter weather

As Oklahoma experiences bitterly cold temperatures and the precipitation that goes with it this week, the city of Oklahoma City is making more room for the unhoused needing a place to escape the extreme weather.

Any time the temperatures drop below 32 degrees, the city extends its night shelter capacity. And with the more than 300 beds offered at the Homeless Alliance's new winter shelter, this brings the number of overflow beds to almost 440.
