DAYTONA BEACH — While Christmas gives the opportunity to gather with family and loved ones for a special night, the festivities don’t end there. New Year's Eve is just around the corner, and the time for celebration continues.

Here are a few places in Volusia and Flagler counties to ring in 2023 on Dec. 31.

1. Main Street – Daytona Beach

The annual “New Year’s Eve on Main Street Party” is back again for the 16th time in Daytona Beach. The event is free of charge and will feature multiple entertainment stages, street performers, live music, stilt walkers, drink specials, food trucks and lots of tasty festival food choices. Fireworks and a ball drop ceremony take place at midnight.

2. Hard Rock Hotel – Daytona Beach

The “2023 Celebration” party at the Hard Rock Hotel at 918 N. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach will feature dance bands, a DJ, food and drinks, and plenty of casino-style games. The event begins at 8 p.m.

The $175 “Early Bird Hard Rockers” tickets are already sold out, according to the hotel’s website. Two other options are the general admission tickets for $200 and the “High Rollers VIP Sky Lounge” ticket at $400. For information, visit hardrockhotels.com/daytona-beach or call 386-947-7300.

3. Studio 54 New Year’s Eve Bash at the Hilton Daytona Resort – Daytona Beach

Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort at 100 N. Atlantic Ave. will offer a unique opportunity for celebrating New Year's Eve.

The hotel’s “Studio 54 New Year’s Eve Bash” event calls for attendees to “dress for the disco and boogie the night away.” It will feature live music from Midnight Mayhem, poker tables, hors d’oeuvres, dinner buffet, and a midnight toast. The event kicks off at 8:30 p.m.

Party-only tickets are $210 per person, $350 per couple.

4. Flagler Avenue – New Smyrna Beach

One of the most popular nighttime spots in the county, Flagler Avenue will play host to holiday festivities.

The “New Year’s Eve Celebration on Flagler Avenue” event, organized by the Flagler Avenue Business Association, will start early at noon on Dec. 31 and run until midnight. It will feature live music, food and drink options from the several businesses located along the popular street.

5. European Village – Palm Coast

European Village’s New Year’s Eve party is inviting people of all ages to ring in 2023 at 101 Palm Harbor Parkway in Palm Coast.

The venue's restaurants will offer “various special packages for food and drinks all night long,” with bars open throughout the event as well.

Live entertainment begins at 7 p.m. The fireworks show begins at midnight.
