Where to get sandbags ahead of another round of rain
SAN DIEGO — With the possibility of another storm heading to the region next week, the County of San Diego is encouraging residents to plan ahead.
Earlier this week, many areas of the county experienced major flooding as a winter storm drenched the region — breaking records. The National Weather Service is now predicting an “impactful” atmospheric at the end of the month, which is expected to be wet and windy.
What are the health concerns for those exposed to flood waters?
In partnership with Cal Fire, the county will be offering free sandbags to businesses and residents in the unincorporated area to prepare for the possibility of another round of heavy rain. Here’s a breakdown of pick-up locations:
