Where school meals in Sacramento region are available during coronavirus closures

While most Sacramento-area schools are closed through the first week of April or longer in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus, school districts across the region will continue to offer free breakfast and lunches to children in need through pick-up centers in front of the school or at other designated locations.
According to a number of school websites, meals will be provided Monday through Friday for any child, 18 years and younger, regardless of free or reduced eligibility or school of attendance. However, children must be present in order for meals to be provided. Most districts say meals will be served midday.
The drive-through meal service will be present in the parking lot or bus lane at each school. Many schools are requiring parents to stay in their cars where meals will be given to them based on the number of children in the vehicle. Walk-up students will be given meals but cannot eat them on-campus and must leave school grounds.
