Where SEC teams are in the College Football Playoff Rankings going into championship weekend

The latest College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday, with Georgia staying No. 1 – but there was movement behind the Bulldogs. Michigan moved up to No. 2 while Alabama and Cincinnati stayed put at No. 3 and 4, respectively.

The rest of the top 10 was rounded out by Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Baylor, Oregon.

Around the rest of the SEC, Arkansas is No.22, Kentucky is No. 23 and Texas A&M No. 25.

Louisiana is ranked for the first time all season at No.24.

The CFP semifinals will be held at the Cotton and Orange bowls on Dec. 31. The national championship will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Jan. 10, 2022.

The final CFP rankings will come out and selection show on Dec. 5 (11 a.m. CT, ESPN).
