Where To Have Thanksgiving Dinner In Bucks County

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — In 2020, you'd be well within your rights to let someone else do the cooking this Thanksgiving. With holiday plans being shifted around due to the coronavirus outbreak, lots of folks may be looking to do something different this year.

And, sure, lots of national restaurant chains here in Bucks County would be happy to carve you off a slice of turkey and scoop some dressing into a to-go box for you. But this year has been tough for a lot of our locally owned restaurants — so, why not think of them first when considering Thanksgiving takeout or dining out (with safety precautions, of course)?

Visit Bucks County has assembled a list of some of the local restaurants that will be serving Thanksgiving meals in 2020. Some will be open for in-person dining, while other of the following spots will send you home with a holiday meal to remember

  • The Black Bass Hotel & Restaurant in Lumberville is serving its annual Thanksgiving feast on the Delaware River with seatings at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26. Choices will include butternut soup, smoked maple glazed salmon, pecan crusted rack of lamb and, for dessert, pumpkin cheesecake.

  • The Pineville Tavern will offer their Thanksgiving buffet both outdoors and indoors. They'll serve crab cakes, carved meats like turkey, rib roast and ham and classic Thanksgiving sides. Desserts range from pumpkin pie to pumpkin bread pudding. Reservations required and can be made on OpenTable or by calling.

  • The Washington Crossing Inn in Washington Crossing will host a Thanksgiving family style dinner, as well as a Thanksgiving a la carte menu, from 12:30-6:30 p.m.

  • The Buck Hotel in Feasterville is offering limited reservations for their family-style Thanksgiving dinner from noon-5 p.m.

  • Two restaurants at Peddler’s Village will be serving special dinners on Thanksgiving. Cock ‘n Bull is presenting a buffet from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Earl’s New American will be presenting Thanksgiving specials along with its regular menu. Buttonwood Grill will be open for breakfast from 7-10 a.m.

  • You can order a fresh, all-natural Thanksgiving turkey, fresh baked pies and sides from Shady Brook Farm. Turkeys are uncooked, pies and side dishes are fully cooked and ready for reheating and serving. Order on their website.

  • The Brick Tavern Inn in Quakertown is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner from noon-6 p.m. Call the restaurant for more information.

  • The Washington House Hotel offers a four-course meal featuring traditional favorites like breast of turkey with gravy and pumpkin pie, plus additions like grilled salmon with honey sriracha glaze and spiced chai cheesecake. Reservations for noon-8 p.m. can be made by calling the restaurant. Takeout pickup will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25, from noon to 6 p.m.

  • The Radisson Philadelphia Northeast in Trevose will have seatings from noon-7 p.m. They'll have traditional foods like turkey and ham, stuffing, mashed and sweet potatoes, dinner rolls and butter and pumpkin pie. To-go options are available.

  • Golden Pheasant Inn in Erwinna on the Delaware River, will be serving a four-course prix fixe menu complete with filet mignon, roasted turkey breast, baked oysters and caramelized apple gateau for dessert. Seating is limited. Make reservations on OpenTable or by calling.

  • At Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland, feasts will include fresh cooked turkeys, gravy, mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, fresh cranberry relish, roasted green beans, roasted carrots and apple and pumpkin pie. Orders must be placed and paid for in advance.

  • You may order a full take-out feast or make reservations at the King George II Inn in Bristol. Their Thanksgiving dinner package includes delicious items like apple rosemary stuffing and garlic and shallot mashed potatoes. Order by Nov. 20 to pick up on Nov. 25.

  • You can roast the turkey and leave the sides to Caleb's American Kitchen in New Hope. Place your Thanksgiving takeout order by Nov. 23 to pick up the next day or Wednesday. Dine on items like creamy green bean casserole with crispy onions and pecan, brown rice and wild mushroom stuffing and more.

  • Reservations are available from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving at the brand new River House at Odette's in New Hope. Menu includes pumpkin soup, roasted Pennsylvania turkey, yukon gold mashed potatoes and more
