Is this the smoking gun, the spark of the rumor that Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are “quietly hanging out”?

Photos from July 19 show Kelce outside the members-only club Zero Bond in New York City, one of Swift’s go-to places where paparazzi wait to see who she enters and leaves with.

OK, it’s not known whether Swift was even in New York on that day in July. But New York is where she spends most of her time between stops on her Eras tour. She was just photographed at the club over the weekend with long-time bestie, “Gossip Girl” actress Blake Lively.

So people are putting two and two together. But is it adding up? (The latest conspiracy theory from the New York Post’s Page Six: Ooh, did you see Swift wearing an opal necklace? That’s Kelce’s birthstone!)

On July 20, New York image consultant and content creator Claude Yao Sahi, known musically as Hijo, posted five photos on Instagram of Kelce taken in “New York, New York.”

Sahi photographs celebrities out and about in New York, one of whom, often, is Swift.

Kelce smiled and mugged in a $455 green-and-white striped polo by the French-Japanese fashion label Maison Kitsune.

Kelce himself “liked” the post.

People magazine published one of the photos on July 21 with this caption: “Travis Kelce strikes a pose and smiles big for the camera while at the private New York City club, Zero Bond, on July 19.”

In recent months, the A-listers seen coming and going from the Victorian Gothic-style club in downtown Manhattan have included Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake and supermodel Gigi Hadid.

In April after Swift broke up with her boyfriend of six years, English actor Joe Alwyn, Swift and a posse of her famous gal pals, including Lively, Hadid and the singing Haim sisters, hit the club for a ladies night on the town.

In May, People reported that Swift was seen kissing British music producer Matty Healy there. The two broke up in June after a few weeks of dating.

After Swift and buddy Ed Sheeran dined together at the club in August, The Daily Mail highlighted the “A-lister hotspot with a $5,000 annual fee, $10 million of art and even a library.”

“Stars have described the exclusive club as being ‘like someone’s living room’ because it is so welcoming, with luxurious lounges across two floors, an omakase restaurant and even a library,” the British tabloid wrote.

“The dining experience is what’s called in Japanese an ‘omakase’ which translates roughly as ‘I’ll leave it up to (the chef).”

Less-fancy burgers and steaks are served in the lounge areas.

In July 2021, a few months after it opened, club owner Scott Sartiano told Robb Report magazine that he’s “a New York guy doing a New York version of a London social club.

“I wanted athletes and actors mixing with finance and doctors and fashion. It’s about bringing all these people together.”

The Messenger website ignited the speculation of a Taylor-Travis tryst last week. It’s a start-up news organization covering politics, business, entertainment and sports. Founder Jimmy Finkelstein is a former part-owner of The Hollywood Reporter and political website The Hill.

In an exclusive, Lanae Brody and Christina Dugan Ramirez, both former reporters for People, quoted an unnamed source saying “Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out. She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”

Swift was in Kansas City in early July to perform two concerts at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs. By now fans of both know that Kelce had a friendship bracelet with his cellphone number on it all ready for Swift. But the two never made contact.

After talking about the brush-off with his brother, Jason Kelce, on their “New Heights” podcast, Kelce seemed to sour on publicly discussing anything Swift-related.

In August — after he was photographed in New York City — he told Andrew Siciliano, host of the NFL Network’s “Inside Training Camp Live,” that he wasn’t going to talk about his personal life.

“I know what you writers want to hear,” Kelce said. “You want to hear more about that, and I’m not going to give you anything.”

No pictures have surfaced of Swift and Kelce together. Zero bond?

In the meantime, fans of both debate whether they like the idea of this fantasy hook-up, a score that has yet to be settled.
