Where to view fireworks this Fourth of July in Marion County

July Fourth is right around the corner.

In Marion County, residents and guests can catch a fireworks display on the Fourth at both the Marion County Fair and the 4th of July Celebration at Prospect Community Park.

To end the first day of the county fair, the fireworks display at the Marion County Fairgrounds will begin Monday at 10 p.m. and can be seen from the grandstand or anywhere on the fairgrounds.

The 4th of July Celebration in Prospect

The popular community festival is to begin Monday at noon and end with fireworks at dusk.

The committee chair of the event, Steve Dexter, said there will be raffle winnings of up to $500 prizes, rides for children, food and craft vendors before the fireworks go off between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

"This is an all-around good family event," he said. "Just come and have a good time."
