Where to vote in Taylor County on Saturday

Voting at 19 centers in Taylor County begins at 7 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. Saturday.

You cannot vote after 7 p.m. unless there is a line and you already were waiting.

A resident can vote at any location. A driver's license or other approved ID must be shown at the site to verify eligibility.

In Abilene, residents are choosing a mayor and Places 3 and 4 on the City Council.

Those residing in the Wylie ISD will make choices in contested races for Places 4 and 5 on the board of education. Place 1 incumbent Brad Hill did not draw an opponent.

Results will be made public in sections during the evening, with early voting totals announced first.

  • First Baptist Church–Merkel, 307 Locust St., Merkel (family life center)

  • Hillcrest Church of Christ, 650 E. Ambler Ave. (gym)

  • Lawn Baptist Church, 518 Avenue D, Lawn (family life center)

  • New Beginnings United Pentecostal Church, 5535 Buffalo Gap Road (main foyer)
