Like many of us this summer, the Cambridge family (Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis, should you need a refresher) have decided to holiday in the UK. Due to coronavirus travel rules still changing regularly, it certainly seems the safer idea at the moment. Plus, there are so many great campsites around!

The royals have decided to venture out of Norfolk, where they've been quarantined in Amner Hall, and are currently enjoying a trip to the Isles of Scilly (an archipelago just off the Cornish coast). It's a place that William has visited before as a child, with his mother Princess Diana and brother, Harry – so we bet he's looking forward to showing his own offspring some of the spots he enjoyed as a kid. The Duke and Duchess also visited together as a couple back in 2016.

It's reported by The Mirror that the Cambridges have been away for a few days, with fellow holiday goers spotting William and Kate cycling across the picturesque island, Tresco. One told the paper, "William and Kate were riding their bicycles, having a laugh. They looked so happy enjoying the weather. I did do a double take. They were really friendly and said hello." Pretty sure we'd do the same!

It's thought that the family have already been in Tresco for a few days and that they'll be heading home today – so it's just been a short, but no doubt welcome, break for them all.

Last summer, while chatting to members of the public during a trip to Cumbria, The Duchess revealed another area of the UK that the royals favour when it comes to take some time out: the Lake District. One royal fan told Hello magazine, "She said that it was raining a lot and was a long way from their home in Norfolk, but they love it here."

Another continued, "She said that her children love coming here and walking in the fells. She told us how nice the Lake District was and how lucky we were to live so close to the mountains." It makes a lot of sense, given that Kate has always spoken so passionately about the importance of spending time outdoors as a family – plus, it's likely that the family would be afforded some privacy out in the countryside.

Happy holidaying to you, Cambridges!
