Whirlpool Foundation names scholarship winners

The Whirlpool Foundation has awarded 24 scholarships to the students of Whirlpool Corporation employees through its Sons and Daughters College and Vocational Training Scholarship program. Since the scholarship program's inception, the foundation has offered traditional four-year college/university scholarships.

Beginning in 2023, the scholarship program was expanded to meet the post-secondary educational needs ofstudents who aspire to pursue a career in the vocational-technical career pathway.

These scholarships are granted to the best and brightest among high school seniors across Whirlpool locations, including the eight U.S. manufacturing communities. The Whirlpool Foundation provides scholarships through a competitive process in which children of more than 20,000 U.S. Whirlpool Corporation employees are eligible to participate.

The following local students have been selected to receive a Whirlpool Sons and Daughters Scholarship:

Kylee Greider
Kylee Greider

● Kylee Greider, Gibsonburg High School, is the daughter of Daniel Greider of Whirlpool Corporation's Clyde Operations. She will attend the University of Northwestern Ohio in the fall of 2023. She looks forward to pursuing her bachelor's degree in motorsports marketing.

Adam Kauble
Adam Kauble

● Adam Kauble, Clyde High School, is the son of Allen Kauble of Whirlpool Corporation's Clyde Operations. He will attend Heidelberg University in the fall of 2023. He looks forward to pursuing his bachelor's degree in supply chain management.

Charles Littlejohn
Charles Littlejohn

● Charles Littlejohn, Bellevue High School, is the son of Karen Littlejohn of Whirlpool Corporation's Clyde Operations. He will attend Bowling Green State University Firelands Main Campus in the fall of 2023. He looks forward to pursuing his bachelor's degree in mechatronics engineering.

Brooke Withrow
Brooke Withrow

● Brooke Withrow, Old Fort High School, is the daughter of Mark Withrow of Whirlpool Corporation's Clyde Operations. She will attend The Ohio State University in the fall of 2023 and is looking forward to pursuing her bachelor's degree in business administration.
