'Yellowstone' success

Whiskey Myers enjoyed a career jolt in 2018, when the band's songs were featured in four episodes of Kevin Costner's Paramount Network hit series "Yellowstone," bumping those earlier recordings up the charts. The band's September 2019 self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard country charts, No. 2 on Billboard's active rock, and No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200.

The group formed around guitarist-singers Cody Cannon and John Jeffers, inspired by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Jr., among others. Whiskey Myers has also benefitted from appearances on the Renée Zellweger Netflix series “What/If,” Angelina Jolie film “Those Who Wish Me Dead” and CBS series “SEAL Team.” Singles "Gasoline" and "Stone" have hit top 20.
