Whistleblower: Vendor improperly handled COVID-19 vaccines in Md.

A whistleblower who spoke Monday with the 11 News I-Team claimed some of Maryland's COVID-19 vaccine clinics operated outside of the Centers Disease Control and Prevention's recommended policies and created a public health risk. Mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics are set up around Maryland to get the vaccines into underserved communities. Clinician Jessica Ray, who used to oversee some of the mobile vaccination site operations for the Maryland Department of Health, said she discovered systemic safety problems with how vendors handled vaccines at mobile vaccination sites and was met with resistance when she tried to bring it to her supervisor's attention. Her complaint focuses on one company in particular, TrueCare24.
