Whistlers Inn In Cinnaminson Reopens Outdoor Porch

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Whistlers Inn in Cinnaminson reopened its outside porch on Monday, and will maintain a schedule of noon to 10 p.m. each day, the restaurant announced on Monday.

“In order to accommodate the government’s guidelines and ensure the safety of the staff and members of the community at large, we ask that you help us maintain social distancing, good personal hygiene and most importantly, extend grace and kindness to one another,” Whistlers Inn owner Matt Bacon said in a social media post. “We’re also asking that you are courteous with your time spent. We are excited to see each and every customer. I promise there will be time soon to spend as much time as you want.”

They will not take reservations initially. There will be a host greeting and seating on the deck. Customers are asked to follow these minimum mandates.


  • Customers are required to wear face masks for entry. They may take them off once they are seated;

  • Anyone who is feeling sick is asked to stay home. The Whistlers Inn will continue to offer takeout;

  • Wash your hands often;

  • Maintain social distancing of 6 feet between parties;

  • Be respectful of staff and other customers; and

  • Only go inside to use the restroom, and put on your mask when doing so.

“We’re just as new to this as you are,” Bacon said. “We’re also just as nervous and excited as you. I urge everyone to be patient as we wade slowly in reopening not only Whistlers Inn, but NJ as well. I am so extremely thankful to everyone who supported us as we got through whatever just happened. To anyone that was impacted during the period we were closed, you have my deepest sympathy.”
