Lake effect snow showers are expected today across parts of northeast Ohio. Accumulation of up to an inch is possible near Akron with higher snowfall totals expected further northeast.

High temperatures will stay below freezing in the lower 30s.

Sunny skies are expected Saturday with highs in the upper 30s. Rain and snow chances return for the remainder of the weekend into next week.
