White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will deliver a daily press briefing Wednesday following an essentially symbolic victory for President Biden in New Hampshire’s Democratic primary. Biden easily finished ahead of his two main challengers, Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips and author Marianne Williamson, despite not appearing on the ballot.

On Tuesday, Biden visited northern Virginia with Vice President Harris to attend a rally for abortion rights, which the president has underscored as a major issue in his ever-more-likely rematch against former President Trump in November.

However, much of Biden’s time at the microphone was spent waiting out shouting matches between activists protesting the war in Gaza and counterprotesters chanting pro-Biden messages. Unlike reproductive rights, continued support for Israel’s war against Palestinian militant group Hamas has become a major point of disagreement within the Democratic Party.

Wednesday’s briefing is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. EST.
