FORT WORTH — Texas Tech goalkeeper Madison White and her defense withstood a strong attack and the Red Raiders battled No. 15 TCU to a 0-0 draw Thursday night in a Big 12 soccer regular-season finale.

TCU (10-3-5, 5-1-3) and Tech (9-3-5, 5-1-3) finished tied for second in the conference standings. The Horned Frogs earned the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 tournament based on goal differential in conference matches.

TCU outshot Tech 18-2, had 16 corner kicks to Tech's one and put four shots on goal to none by the Red Raiders. White made four saves for her conference-leading ninth shutout this season and the 26th of her career, second on Tech's all-time list. TCU goalkeeper Lauren Kellett got her eighth shutout of the season.

"It took a good defensive effort tonight," Tech coach Tom Stone said. "TCU had a good night on the ball, so it came down to our defensive organization and communication. It's a good thing we have one of the best keepers in the nation because Madison White was fantastic tonight."

On Friday, White was named the Big 12 goalkeeper of the week for the second week in a row.

Macy Schultz and Kaitlyn Giametta had the only two shots for Tech.

The Big 12 tournament starts Sunday in Round Rock. No. 3 seed Tech will play No. 6 seed Oklahoma (8-7-3, 3-5-1) at 8 p.m.

Texas (13-1-4, 7-0-2) wrapped up the Big 12 regular-season title Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Oklahoma.
