White Sox reinstate Reynaldo Lopez from the injured list to start Saturday against the Cubs

Chicago White Sox pitcher Reynaldo Lopez returned from the injured list and will be on the mound for the second game of the City Series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

The Sox reinstated the right-hander Saturday and optioned outfielder Nicky Delmonico to the Schaumburg training facility.

Lopez went on the injured list July 27 with right shoulder soreness.

He left the July 26 game against the Minnesota Twins with two outs in the first inning because of tightness in the shoulder. He allowed four runs on three hits in his only start this season.
