Whitefish Bay Police Help Struggling Woman Pushing Stroller

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Whitefish Bay police came to the aid of woman who was struggling and had been pushing an empty stroller for several hours, authorities said.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer was on patrol just before 3 a.m. on July 27 when the officer saw a woman struggling to push her stroller along the 5100 block of N. Lake Drive while also carrying a rake.

Whitefish Bay police said the woman had been walking with the stroller for several hours.

Police said the officer helped the woman, who requested rescue from the North Shore Fire Department after saying she "had COVID."

Police call logs stated that first responders evaluated her and transported her to the hospital for treatment.

Whitefish Bay Police said the woman requested that her belongings be left on the side of the road for pickup by somebody else.

The woman did not have a child in the stroller, police said.
