Whiteford hosting Meet the Candidate event at St. Michael Lutheran Church

OTTAWA LAKE – The Whiteford Community Association will be hosting a Meet the Candidate event at St. Michael Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

The church is located at 5790 W. Temperance Road, Ottawa Lake, at the corner of Whiteford Center and Temperance roads.

This event will give residents an opportunity to meet and hear from the candidates running for Whiteford Agricultural Schools Board of Education. A candidate introduction period will be followed by a timed question-and-answer session, with questions and topics suggested by community members.

An open floor discussion will follow, time permitting.

Seven candidates are running for three seats with four-year terms that expire Dec. 31, 2026. They are Doug Bulmer, Jeffrey S. Bunge, Dave Dixon, Steven Morgan, Nick Puhl, Jason Vida and Janelle A. Young.

Christine Bischoff is running unopposed for a partial term that ends on Dec. 31, 2024.
