Whitehall Police Department receives donations from local residents to service new K9 vehicle

The Whitehall Police Department has put a new K9 vehicle in service with the help of a few residents.

In a statement, the police department thanked residents Scott and Louise Wolf and business owners Steve and Sarah Boroch for donations raised for the new K9 equipment.

The Wolfs raised money through their “Fellowship on Frich Fundraiser.” The Boroch’s donated money from their “Old Allegheny Smoke Shop K9 Project.”

The department was able to purchase a K9 transport cage and door deployment device, a heat sensor and alarm, a bite sleeve and a GPS collar.
