Russian families from the far east of the country are travelling to temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast to perform "maintenance work".

Source: Serhii Haidai, former head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram

Details: He noted that all the "recovery work" on the part of the so-called local authorities boils down to theft from the budget.

Haidai said the vast majority of men whom the Russians mobilised in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast and who were sent to the front had either died or returned with certain injuries, meaning that they cannot work properly.

Instead, the so-called representatives of small nationalities come from the depths of Russia. These are Yakuts, Buryats and others.

Quote: "In the first months, repair teams came from Moscow Oblast. But there were repeated cases when the military wanted to mobilise them and send them to the front. The information spread quickly, so the Muscovites no longer want to come there. But small nationalities, instead, do not have that information. They are additionally brainwashed with propaganda, they are told that ‘the Ukrainians have broken everything’, and they should come to repair it. And they do come. Moreover, they do not just go there by themselves, but with their families, and they stay there, because they are better off in our dilapidated cities than in their own in Russia."
