Whose cheese will reign supreme? Quesoff returns to the Mohawk in October
Who's the big cheese when it comes to Austin's favorite dip? Restaurants, chefs and home-cooks will face off in a friendly competition to find the city's best queso when the Mohawk hosts its annual Quesoff on Oct. 8.
Queso-makers will compete in four categories: Meaty, Spicy, Veggie and Wild Card. A panel of judges — including Austin360's award-winning food writer Matthew Odam, Franklin Barbecue's Aaron Franklin and City Council Member Vanessa Fuentes — will also present a best-in-show award to the overall top queso dish.
