Covington Catholic High School announced that 1963 graduate Ken Williams and his wife Kate (Notre Dame Academy Class of 1964), as well as the Kenny and Brian Williams Fund, are the 2023 recipients of the Northern Kentuckian of the Year Award.

The fund was started in 2002 in memory of Kenny, who died from injuries after a fall, and Brian, who died in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. Kenny graduated from CCH in 1986 and was a co-captain on the football team as a senior. Brian was a three-sport star at CCH, winning two state championships in football and a silver medal in discus. He was also a first team all-conference basketball player.
