Why 2023 was a record year for the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center

The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center had the best financial year in the property's history this past year, according to a new release from ASM Global, the company that manages the venue.

The release does not specify how much revenue the venue brought in during 2023, but states that shows from artists such as Jelly Roll, Zach Williams, Journey and Cody Johnson contributed to more than 380,000 attendees during what was "the highest revenue and profitability in history," breaking the record set in 2022.

The release also said more than $20,000 in tickets were donated to nearly 70 nonprofit organizations throughout the year, another record for the venue.

“The team here has worked tirelessly to make this complex the leader in the region that it is today,” stated Mike Krewson, general manager for the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in the release. “We continue to raise the bar year after year, increasing our event offerings and elevating the guest experience, whether the caliber of talent or more diverse food and beverage choices.

"Clearly our efforts have paid off, as we are seeing an increase in revenue, attendance and support from our partners and the community," he continued. "We look forward to continuing this upward path and are excited to see more successes in the years to come.”
