Why Australia should bring back the hilarious TV bushman Russell Coight
During a golden period in the early 2000s, Australian audiences were blessed with the unrelenting wisdom of Russell Coight and his brilliant television show All Aussie Adventures.
Lasting only two seasons in 2001 and 2002, the show was a spoof on outback travel shows, which were wedged into the television programming mire that were weekend afternoons. The only difference is that Russell Coight's take on outback travel wasn't so mind-numbingly boring.

Much like other legendary bushmen including Crocodile Dundee, Steve Irwin and the Leyland Brothers, Coight was a larrikin know-it-all bushman — except he was far, far more talented. From his interactions with Indigenous Australians, his way with animals and his cost saving measures, Coight sure knew his way around the Australian outback.
Arguably one of the finest comedy shows Australia has ever produced, it's no surprise that viewers want it back. They've sorely missed the handshakes and the camp chairs.
More than 5,000 people have signed a petition on Change.org titled "Bring back Russell Coight to Australian TV" demanding Channel Ten and actor Glenn Robbins, who plays Coight, to revive the cult show.
