DARYN CARP: Katy Perry has a new dinner date, Prince Charles. The unlikely pair teaming up for the second annual Big Curry Night In, which is the British Asian Trust fundraising campaign celebrating one of their signature dishes. The Big Curry Night In, taking place March 5th to March 14th, is a campaign encouraging UK citizens to make their own curry or ordering takeout and making a donation to the work for the British Asian Trust. The initiative supports the struggling restaurants amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Mia, this is so amazing. I also like the idea of Katy Perry, kind of, going on a date with Prince Charles, even though I know she's with Orlando Bloom. Are you going to participate? I mean restaurants still need help even after a year of this pandemic.

MIABELLE: Yeah, for sure. I feel so bad for the restaurants that have to close down due to the pandemic. So, it's definitely my duty to go out on as many dates as I can to support these restaurants. As long as we're doing it safely, that's all that matters. And yes, whoever wants to take me out, we can do it every day of the week. Let's go.

DARYN CARP: That's right you're taking numbers. You are-- you are volunteering your dating time to support the local restaurant industry. But I will say, curry seems very complicated to me. Maybe it's because I'm not a chef. So, I will definitely be ordering out some curry, not-- not making it in any sort of way if I want it to be edible. For sure.
