MEG LUDEMANN: Is it possible to have too many Stanley cups? Guilty. The social media craze has made tumbler cups a billion industry, forcing some shoppers to camp out for limited edition releases, like this one. The Wall Street Journal even spoke to two TikTokers who collected 67 and 75 Stanleys, respectively, to match their outfits of the day, and potentially to capitalize on the limited edition cups.

Experts say people tend to buy things that make them feel good, and in this case, able to show off online. Plus, the fact that they're so hard to get also adds a natural driver to the craze.
