LIZ LOZA: Well, let's close things out now with Terrace Marshal Jr. He is out of LSU. You know, I think you can see a lot of tradition in his play. If we're coming from a prospect like Toney, it's like we're going 180 degrees in a different direction when we're talking about Marshall Jr.

ERIC EDHOLM: He's really got the measurables down pat. He can run vertical routes for a big receiver exceptionally well. That was my one-- my one word. I'm cheating. Abbreviations count, Liz. HWS-- height, weight, speed, right? You know, that's the classic scouting "holy trinity," if you will.

So he's got-- I mean, to do what he did obviously and kind of hold his water playing next to those two guys-- you know, you can't loaf it out there. I mean, he did a great job in 2019, was special. He looked great early in 2020 too, and those traits came out in spades.

LIZ LOZA: And we're alluding to the same thing. He is a classic, you know, 6'-plus receiver. You're right-- the size/speed combo. He's the third wheel with an unexpected third gear.

We all think we know what each of those receivers did, but after Jefferson left in 2020, I think it bears mentioning that Marshall Jr. was able to thrive in the slot and can work as a big slot wide receiver at the next level. That's probably not what's going to happen, but he does have experience there, which only adds to his resumé.
