Bodybuilder Eddie “The Beast” Hall has traveled across the globe for competitions, but there’s one place the strongman counts as one of his favorites: Fort Worth.

Hall, 35, has been crushing bodybuilding competitions for over a decade, including winning the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017. The English strongman has also won similar events in his home country of the United Kingdom and across Europe.

The strongman professed his love for Fort Worth in a recent YouTube video while spending a day with English boxer Tommy Fury. DuringIn the video, Fury asked Hall where he’s been that surprised him.

“I’d say one of the most coolest places I’ve been to, the most chill and the best fun I’ve had as well, is Texas, this place called Fort Worth,” Hall said. “The food was amazing, the people were amazing, the nightlife, the weather, just everything about it. Loved it.”

Fury chimed in and said he’s visited Arlington in the past for the Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders boxing match in 2021, saying the steak in Texas was sublime.

Hall agreed and said his favorite Texas delicacy was the barbecue, which he called, “Literally, the best barbecue in the world.” The strongman stated that if you were to ask any Texan about barbecue, they’ll claim it was invented in the Lone Star State.

Fury then asked why the barbecue is so good in Texas, to which Hall replied its all about the smoke and knowing what to do.

“They’re like artists at smoking meat,” Hall said. “I’ve never been anywhere like it, the food is just incredible.”
