If you have too much lawn for a small push mower but not enough for a riding mower, consider one of these capable machines.
The machine that pioneered the category at the residential level is the Toro TimeMaster, a 30-inch mower powered by a 223-cc OHV engine. It debuted several years ago and created a minor revolution in residential lawn care by filling a gap for homeowners who have a bit too much lawn for a standard 22-inch walk mower, but not enough lawn (or storage) to justify riding equipment.
This Toro is equipped with a blade-brake function (normally called blade brake clutch) that allows the user to stop the blades and drive system and step away from the mower with the engine running. This allows you to remove hazards from the lawn or relocate lawn furniture.
