Wide receiver Nathan Leacock commits to Tennessee football

Tennessee football beat out schools from the SEC, Big Ten and ACC to get wide receiver Nathan Leacock, who committed to the Vols on Friday.

Leacock, rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports Composite, chose Tennessee after also taking official visits to Michigan and North Carolina in June.

He also had scholarship offers from Florida, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Michigan, West Virginia, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Miami and Louisville among others.

Leacock is a 6-foot-3, 200-pounder from Millbrook High in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is ranked the No. 77 wide receiver and No. 591 overall prospect in the 2023 class by 247Sports Composite.

Tennessee now has four receiving targets to pair with five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava in the 2023 class, including Leacock, four-star athlete/wide receiver Cameron Seldon (Northumberland in Heathsville, Virginia), four-star tight end Ethan Davis (Collins Hill in Suwanee, Georgia) and three-star wide receiver Nate Spillman (Lipscomb Academy in Nashville).
