Widespread Damage Reported After Earthquake Rocks Croatia

Footage from Croatia shows significant damage after a magnitude-6.4 earthquake shook the country December 29, killing at least seven people, including a 12-year-old girl, officials said.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the earthquake struck southeast of Zagreb at 11.20 am local time.

The earthquake was felt in neighboring countries such as Slovenia, forcing lawmakers to evacuate the Slovenian National Assembly.
