The Portland Metro Area is in very bad shape with multiple roads and highways iced over and jammed with cars, making it not an ideal place to travel if possible.

Before traveling, check TripCheck.com from the Oregon Department of Transportation.

“Expect ice, snow and downed trees in many areas,” ODOT said Thursday morning. “Where power is out, signals are four-way stops.”
