Yahoo Finance Live anchors discuss Wikipedia modifying users' ability to edit its 'recession' page.

BRIAN SOZZI: But, all right. Wikipedia is changing the editing rules on its page about "recession." Starting today, Wikipedia users will be able to make changes to the English "recession" page. But their edits will be subject to review from the site's volunteer editors. This move comes after hundreds of users had been making and reverting changes to the page after the Commerce Department announced GDP fell in the second quarter.

Good. Good for this. We should get an accurate definition of what recession is. And it is not--

JULIE HYMAN: OK. What's the--

BRIAN SOZZI: --two quarters in a row of negative GDP. I think we could all say that.

JULIE HYMAN: Well, at least not according to the National Bureau of Economic Research, whose job it is to determine that.

- Right. And typically, they're reviewing that data.

BRIAN SOZZI: So are you in the recession camp?

JULIE HYMAN: I--

BRIAN SOZZI: Is that breaking-- are you on board with the two quarters in a row of GDP?

JULIE HYMAN: Mhm. No.

BRIAN SOZZI: No, OK.

JULIE HYMAN: No.

BRIAN SOZZI: I got to ask the tough questions.

JULIE HYMAN: Like, I don't know anymore. It's just I'm so tired of the debate, to be perfectly honest.

- They got a whole board on one person.

[LAUGHTER]

They're reviewing the data. And typically, it's well after the fact that a recession--

JULIE HYMAN: Right.

- --has already been entered into, and in some cases exited, as well, before they actually deem all of the parameters meeting up to their criteria to label it [INAUDIBLE].

BRIAN SOZZI: Even in a mild recession, we'd have to think "Batgirl" would do good. It'd have to do good. It's "Batgirl."

- It would have to.

BRIAN SOZZI: I mean, come on, of course. You have to go see "Batgirl."

JULIE HYMAN: I don't know if that's true, actually, at all.

BRIAN SOZZI: [INAUDIBLE] get this movie out.

JULIE HYMAN: I want to try and find a leak on the internet.

[BUZZER]
