Wilkin Formby and TJ Banks, hometown Northridge recruits, pick up Alabama football offers
There's lots of local talent in Tuscaloosa area high school football, and the college football powerhouse in town wants in on it twofold.
Northridge class of 2023 offensive lineman Wilkin Formby and 2024 cornerback TJ Banks earned offers from Alabama at the Crimson Tide's Junior Day on Saturday.
Formby, 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, had handfuls of Power Five offers entering the unofficial visit, while Banks, 6-2, 180 pounds, had just one.
They both possess great size and length for their positions, are two of the top Tuscaloosa area prospects and are key parts of back-to-back winning seasons at Northridge.
Northridge grad and long snapper Jake Pugh is the only Tuscaloosa high school product on Alabama's roster after Paul W. Bryant High freshman walk-on Brylan Lanier entered the transfer portal.
