William Byrne To Move To Distance Learning Tuesday
BURNSVILLE, MN — William Byrne Elementary School announced that it will shift to distance learning beginning Tuesday to help control the spread of COVID-19.
Students will return to in-person learning Jan. 31, the school said.
As of right now, ISD 191 said it doesn't plan to move all schools to distance learning.
"We will continue to monitor both health conditions and our ability to safely staff our schools and programs," the district said.
Dr. Jon Bonneville, the principal of William Byrne Elementary, asked families to redouble their efforts to stay safe from COVID-19 over the next few weeks. Families were asked to make efforts including wearing masks when inside and around others, avoiding crowded places and gatherings, keeping their child home if they experience symptoms and more.
Meals will be provided for pickup at Nicollet Middle School, the district said. Complete this form by Tuesday morning to let school officials know if you'll be picking up meals.
