Williamson County's June business roundup: Burritos, BBQ, burgers

New residents move to Williamson County every day, bringing new restaurants, shops and more. Here's a taste of what's new in Williamson County throughout June.

Chipotle

Chipotle, the ubiquitous, fast casual Mexican food chain, is adding a location at 5041 Carothers Pkwy. near White Bison Coffee and Starbucks. The new location will be about 10 minutes away from the existing store on Cool Springs Blvd., which will make for some tough afternoon snack choices for Centennial High students and Cool Springs office employees.

Edley's Bar-B-Q

Nashville barbecue chain Edley's received a permit to start buildout on its first Williamson County location at 501 Sallie Ln. The Berry Farms location will be the first Edley's with a drive-thru. It is scheduled to open this fall. Expect smoked meats, sweet tea and Southern sides such as macaroni and cheese and cornbread.

The Factory grand hall renovation

The Factory is a shopping center well-loved for its industrial flair, but the complex's main event space is set for a facelift. The space's grand hall will receive an extensive renovation centered around a new Factory bar. The swanky new space will mimic the building's original design while bringing new shine through modern furnishings and design elements.

Magnolia & Vine

Spring Hill eatery The Mockingbird is no more, but Spring Hill event space Magnolia & Vine is ready for action. After temporarily closing the historic farmhouse venue in the spring, its owners announced in May that the space would now serve as a rentable events venue. The first event under the new banner — a seafood boil — was held June 4 and featured live music, drinks and more.
