A slate of rock n’ roll and country music titans are coming in June to Virginia Beach as part of the 2024 Outlaw Music Festival Tour.

Willie Nelson and Family, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss and Celisse will headline the festival at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater on June 26, according to an announcement by Blackbird Presents on Tuesday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 1 for the general public, though Citi card members can purchase presale tickets from Tuesday until 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29.

The Outlaw Music Festival is scheduled for 25 stops across the country from June to September, with some dates including additional headliners like John Mellencamp with Brittney Spencer, Southern Avenue and Billy Strings.

“This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary artists,” Nelson said in a news release. “I am thrilled to get back on the road again with my family and friends playing the music we love for the fans we love.”

The festival began in 2016 in Scranton, Pennsylvania and has become one of the largest touring acts in North America. Some other big names that have taken the Outlaw stage are Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, Chris Stapleton, ZZ Top, Van Morrison, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Bonnie Raitt and Eric Church.

Nelson last performed in Virginia Beach as part of the 2022 iteration of the festival, Plant & Krauss performed together in Portsmouth in 2023, while Dylan has played in Hampton Roads at least nine times, according to The Pilot’s reporting, with the last appearance in 2013.
